Conn Carroll's piece in today's Morning Bell addresses jobs the President is leaving behind. Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, illustrated a classic case of Obamavision yesterday. He's quoted in the article:
"When you look at the production within the gulf of Mexico, even in the midst of the national crisis of the Deepwater Horizon, the production has remained at an all-time high."
Maybe the Obama Administration wishes this to be true. Maybe their hope is that their "green jobs" initiative will soon bear fruit. Maybe their prayer is that Americans will believe their pronouncements and be happy with the changes being imposed on our way of life.
People sometimes respond to wishes, hopes, and prayers; but, only for a limited time with limited commitment before they expect to see real results. One Black American understands that economies do not respond to wishes, hopes, and prayers. It's too bad Democrats (and other socialists) don't.
